It works great, easy to install and the mini sdcard slot even better ( Now I can take my wife's favorite music without buying an additional mp3 player ) This radio is for you.A little bigger but what else you can expect for the price unless that you prefer expend more for a similar radio. I love Xm Radio portable radios. If you are the kind of person that really thinks in save money in tech products having at the same time something really good.

It's not too slow to start-up, link up, or change channels. The cabling is a pain to move from one vehicle to another. And now I'm glad I did.

My only two notes about the piece is more of a wish list instead of a problem list:1. They give you a huge antenna cable and a long power cable, obviously to accomodate as many people as possible, which can be cumbersome to transfer. The FM transmitter doesn't work well at all.2.

I read all the good and bad things about this receiver before buying it and came close to not getting it at all, but tempted fate and ordered it anyway. The sound quality is just as good as our built in XM receiver. My wish here is that it were retractable into a spooler or something similar.However, the system does exactly what I bought it for, it hasn't locked up, I've transferred it from vehicle to vehicle with no trouble, and I am very happy with it.Originally I thought I'd be able to carry it around and receive XM, but I discovered you have to have the goofy looking headphones so I just record a channel for a couple hours and listen to that when I want it to be "walkable".

I don't know if it's the latest firmware or I just got lucky (fingers crossed either way), but my system has not given a single bit of trouble. The display is fine and the horizontal/vertical option is nice.

Good news is that Amazon makes it easy to get a full refund. I won't stop online shopping, but the idea of waiting on nothing is annoying. Unfortunately, I didn't receive anything from the "seller". No item was ever delivered, no order confirmation, no tracking number, not even a thank you.

The shipment came quickly, and I am pleased with the item. I was very happy with my purchase of a Altec Lansing speaker dock for my XM radio.

This is our first satellite radio, and are thrilled with it. Bought another car kit ($17) from Amazon and installed it myself. $30 Amazon price is $100+ lower than local store price. Love no commercials on music stations.

For $30 for radio and car kit, it's a steal. Sounds great, looks OK, but I mounted it low on console so visible wires are minimal. Was easy to install myself, and SureConnect connection to car radio antenna was easy and sounds great. Found a code on the internet for a XM subscription discount, and used it to get a $77 annual subscription from XM, versus $12.95 per month. Don't have Aux input to use, nor a cassette player. Helps immensely on long trips out of state, and while commuting to job (30 minutes).

Higher mount location would mean more wire showing. Only regret is paying so much for professional installation in van. Many station choices - we like many of the music stations, the comedy channels, baseball games, and sports talk. Paid over $200 for professional installation in our van (newer vehicle) - looks great, sounds great.
